We can’t believe how these last two years have flown by. We began this journey as two best friends who worked well together and wanted to start something special of their own. We knew that we could help couples have a stress free day and most importantly, an event they would always remember.
Instead, these last two years turned into so much more. Thanks to the wise words and helpful hints of fellow vendors we were welcomed into a new community of girl bosses, creative artists, entrepreneurs and kind souls. They sat down with us, listened to us and guided us. We can not thank them enough.
These last two years were also filled with memories of incredible events and even more incredible couples. We had the opportunity to listen to their concerns, help them find solutions and then share their special day with them. By the end of each wedding we were exhausted, but being able to see the couple’s vision come to life and how much fun they had at their wedding was so rewarding.
Most importantly, these last two years brought countless memories between friends. From emailing daily and listening to each other’s opinions to trading in girl’s night out for morning meetings with clients, it has been quite the adventure. One of the most exciting moments of the last two years occurred this past August. While I was busy coordinating a gorgeous wedding day at the Shadowbrook, Jen was busy coordinating the most important event in her life- her daughter’s birth! Hadley Virginia Abene was born the night of that wedding so it is an anniversary we will never forget!
So, happy birthday to us and as we grow older we will continue to count our blessings for all the love we have received and all of the love we get to create!
