Jen has known Kylie since middle school so when she got engaged and asked us to help out with her wedding, we were so excited because we knew it was going to be special in so many ways! With Jen’s due date being so close to Kylie’s wedding though, she unfortunately wasn’t going to be able to attend as a guest, or as her planner. So, we decided on a consulting strategy to help get Kylie to her big day feeling confident and relaxed!
Kylie and Christian got married at the picturesque Bedell Cellars, a vineyard in North Fork, Long Island. The ceremony took place in front of a beautiful large tree on the property that Sag Harbor Florists adorned with a stunning garland. The bridesmaids were in blush and were glammed up by Hair & Makeup by Nicole. Jen’s sister was the made of honor so we got lots of updates throughout the day on how things were going!
There was no first look, as Kylie and Christian wanted to see each other for the first time walking down the aisle. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the vineyard’s open lawn area, overlooking the property. Guests enjoyed creative food from Marcey Brownstein Catering as they mingled and sipped on delicious wine from Bedell.
Heading into the reception, the escort cards were placed in wine corks from Bedell wine! The crowd enjoyed music by Scratch DJ’s and got to eat some delicious doughnuts for dessert from Doughology. The brides father made the doughnut wall for their wedding and the brides mother got her the special denim jacket to commemorate the day. The wedding concluded with a sparkler send off, captured perfectly (along with the whole day) by Caroline Rocchetta Photography.
We are so happy for Kylie and Christian and loved being part of their wedding day, even if it was from a far :-)
