We started working with Becca and Chris in February of 2019. We toured a few venues and they immediately knew that The English Manor (in Ocean Township, NJ) was the venue for them. Becca had previously been to the venue for work and remembered thinking at that time that she hopes to get married there one day.
Their wedding was originally scheduled for June 2020 but the couple chose to reschedule to May 15, 2021. We were so impressed with how they handled having to reschedule- all positive vibes from these two and their families. When the new year arrived, the couple was still deciding whether or not they should proceed with their May wedding. We are so happy that they decided to reduce their guest list and move forward with their day!
The morning kicked off at Becca's mom's house in Avon-by-the-Sea. It was such a beautiful day- the sun was shining, it was warm but not too hot and no humidity in the air. Becca and her ladies got glammed up by Boho Bridal and were all looking stunning. Their beautiful flowers featuring lavender accents arrived from Wallflowers as they continued to get ready. Alex from Idalia Photography and her team were busy capturing Becca's beautiful details (including invitations designed by Becca's sister, Sarabeth!) along with all of the other amazing photos from the day.
After hair, makeup and some photos, the couple headed out in their trolley (from Long Branch Trolley) for their church ceremony at the lovely St. Elizabeth's in Avon-by-the-Sea. A special thank you to Idalia Photography for helping to keep the morning on schedule :-).
The ceremony was beautiful and sweet. Since they had to cut their guest list by almost half, they decided to live stream their ceremony for those that couldn't attend. SCE did an amazing job of capturing the ceremony so that those at home could still be a part of it.
After church, the couple went over to the beach for some photos and then to The English Manor to get ready for some dinner and dancing. As always, the cocktail hour spread at The English Manor was amazing (think mac and cheese bar, slider bar, pasta station...so much food!). Prol Entertainment handled the music for cocktail hour and also stuck around to play alongside the super fun Pat Roddy Band during the reception.
Guests enjoyed delicious food, lots of dancing to good music and a cute photo booth from Idalia Photography throughout the evening. Becca & Chris had the best time at their wedding and were even able to sneak in a picture on a motorcycle (not Chris's this time ha but still so much fun). We can't believe our time working with Becca, Chris and their families has come to an end. They were such a kind, upbeat, happy and appreciative couple to work with during the planning process. We wish them a long life filled with happiness together!
A special thank you to the amazing vendor team for all of their hard work on this!
