Kristen & Chris's Wedding, Eagle Oaks, NJ

A little over one month ago, Kristen and Chris got married at the beautiful Eagle Oaks Golf and Country Club in Farmingdale, NJ. The day started out at Kristen's parents house in Little Silver, where the girls got their hair and makeup done by the teams at Evolution Salon and Make Me Up Eva. Everyone was dressed in their super cute maroon pajama's from Kristen, relaxed and excited for the day.

I felt very luck to get to work with their wonderful family for the second time this year. Earlier in the year, Kristen's sister Kat got married so it was so nice to get to see her and her husband again (she's pregnant now!). The extremely talented Amy Rizzuto photographed both weddings so it was a pleasure to get to work with her again too. While Amy snapped the photos, Delia Studios captured the video for the day, which I'm so excited to see.

After Amy got her detail shots and some photos of Kristen and her girls, it was time for Kristen to get dressed with the help of her two sisters and her mom.

While Kristen chose not to do a first look with her groom, she did do a first look with her father before heading to church. The church ceremony took place at St. James in Red Bank. It was such a beautiful ceremony! Afterwards, everyone went back to Kristen's parents for some group photos. The rain held off and right before we were heading to Eagle Oaks, the sun decided to pop out. It was a magical time and Amy and the team hustled to get some shots before heading back out on the trolley from Shooboo Shuttle.

Back at the venue guests began arriving for cocktail hour. Eagle Oak's has a lovely spread for cocktail hour and it spans between a few rooms. Guests mingled, enjoyed the food and some music from Clara Jordan Band (Hank Lane).

Meanwhile, the ballroom was looking stunning! The beautiful arrangements were created by From Peonies to Pain Chips. The fall colors in the arrangements and the girls' bouquets were so rich and perfect for the fall weather. Kristen and Chris also had a live wedding painter, Peter from The Wedding Day Painter which was a fun, interactive thing for the guests to check out.

I know I've said this before, but I love working weddings with the Clara Jordan Band. They are awesome and always have the dance floor packed. Tonight was no different! The guests enjoyed the delicious food and fun music which then transitioned into a two hour after party at Eagle Oaks full of more food and drink. What a day! It really was a pleasure to work with Kristen, Chris and their families. Kristen and Chris were wonderful and appreciative and Eagle Oaks was once again a great venue to work with. A special thanks to the team there for helping the day to run smoothly as well as all of the very talented vendors involved in the day.
