Jen Abene
Founder & Lead Event Planner
After growing up in Toms River, NJ, Jen studied Communications at the University of Pennsylvania. During this time, she worked at Philadelphia Style Magazine and contributed to the planning and execution of their annual Best of Style Party. It peaked her interest and triggered her to seek a profession in event planning. Jen graduated in 2007 and began working for a NYC event marketing agency where she produced events for liquor brands including Captain Morgan, Smirnoff and Johnnie Walker as well as events for Nike Running and Women's Training.
Five years later, Jen got married in Cape May, NJ and decided it was time to move away from the city and back to the shore. Jen continued to work in event marketing, helping brands like Pampers and Keuirg in product launch events and media stunts. In 2015, Jen left her full time job to focus on Shore to Please Weddings and starting her family in Middletown, NJ.
In 2022 Jen, her husband Mike, their 3 kids and Bernese Mountain Dog, Zoey decided to make the move to Ponte Vedra, FL. They are loving their new surroundings, especially during the winter!

Italy! I'd love to go back again one day but now that we are in FL we are Disney season pass holders. I love how much joy it brings the kids
