Tricia & Alex's Princeton Wedding

We had yet to be part of a wedding in Princeton, so we were very excited when we got the call from Tricia and Alex to help out with their wedding at Triumph Brewing Company in Princeton! Princeton is such a beautiful area with lots of cute shops and the downtown area is right next to Princeton University’s beautiful campus.

Tricia & Alex’s wedding took place on Saturday, November 5th. It was a brisk, beautiful fall day and the morning started off with the ladies getting ready at the Nassau Inn in downtown Princeton. Their hair and makeup was done by a team from True Beauty Marks and they all looked stunning fall colored dresses.

The couple chose to do a first look at the Princeton Battlefield, which was the perfect backdrop. Since it was a little chilly out, Tricia gifted the ladies with blanket scarves that were all unique to each bridesmaids. The bride wore a lovely fur shawl that has been a part of her family for quite a while. It made her photos extra special and a perfect accessory for the chilly morning. The beautiful fall bouquets were created by the very talented Kerry Patel of Kerry Patel Designs.

After the first look the couple took some photos with Lauri, for Emily Wren Photography, before making their way to Trinity Church for the ceremony. It was a late morning ceremony, followed by an early afternoon reception at Triumph.

Triumph hosts many weddings each year, but it definitely isn’t your traditional wedding venue. The brewery offers a unique menu and a venue with a laid back feel.

A long narrow hallway lead guests into the reception. The hallway was lined with glass displays which Tricia and Alex used to display photos of their family members and themselves. Inside, the tables were lined with gorgeous floral runners created by Kerry Patel of Kerry Patel Designs. The talented bride created the beautiful watercolor and calligraphy table numbers and seating charts herself. Guests enjoyed music from Dave at Sound Choice and we were loving it too since the bride & groom both love one of our favorites, Taylor Swift J. On the way out, guests were treated to mini apple cider donuts from Terhune Orchards on their way out.

This picture perfect fall wedding was so much fun for us! Tricia and Alex are so easygoing, fun and sweet which helped to make their day so enjoyable and special. Congrats Tricia & Alex!
