Ashley & Ian's Hotel LBI Wedding, NJ

On Sunday, November 21st, Ashley and Ian tied the knot at the beautiful Hotel LBI in Long Beach Island, NJ. This was an extra special one for me because my sister and Ashley grew up playing soccer together so I've known her for quite some time. Ashley and her ladies got ready in a suite at the hotel. It was my first time seeing the rooms there and I hope to go back for an overnight one day because they were so spacious and gorgeous. It was a perfect spot for them to get ready!

The Make Me Up Eva team was on makeup while Ariana Sylvestro from Razberris Salon did everyone's hair. The women all looked amazing. Alyssa from Oceans to Mountains Photography arrived shortly after I did and started to capture Ashley's details. Off Beet Productions was on-site handling video and captured so many special moments, like the one of Ashley reading her card from Ian.

One of my favorite moments of the day was when Desiree Dean Designs arrived with Ashley's bouquet. There was so much excitement (and some tears ha) about how beautiful the flowers were. The colors were the perfect fall combo and were exactly what Ashley had been hoping for.

Once everyone was ready, the men made their way to the first look location on the red trolley from Long Branch Trolley. The women followed shortly behind. Ashely wanted to do the first look on a dock, so she chose The Boatyard, which had so many beautiful photo opportunities. Alyssa did a great job moving the group around to various spots for the first look, group photos and more couple photos.

Before tucking away for the ceremony, the couple was able to squeeze in their family photos on the rooftop of Hotel LBI. The rooftop is often used for ceremonies there, but given the cold weather, Ashley & Ian's ceremony took place in the ballroom. The ceremony was extra special as Ashley's brother served as the officiant and Ashley's Dad hired bagpipers to play as guests entered and exited. It was such a beautiful, personal ceremony!

Following the ceremony the guests made their way to the lobby for cocktail hour which was filled with delicious stations and passed appetizers. Meanwhile, Kelly and I helped the Hotel LBI team flip the ballroom. I was so impressed with their process and how quickly the flip happened!

The ballroom at Hotel LBI is stunning and the hotel provides wooden farm tables which I loved! The tables were lined with runners from the bride (she dyed them herself!) and adorned with floral runners and taper candles from the super talented Desiree Dean Designs. The colors were gorgeous and everything came together so nicely.

Ashley & Ian had a few fun details that I also want to point out! They had a shotski that served as their guestbook in addition to a polaroid station. I also loved the lobster trap that they rented from Rustic Drift in place of a traditional card box. Finally, instead of a welcome sign with their names on it, they put a quote that was special to them which I thought was so unique.

Guests had a great time dancing to the music from BME Entertainment. Ashley and Ian got to sneak away for some night photos (so glad they did this!) and they sure had some fun with it. Their beautiful cake was from A Sweet Memory Cake Shoppe and a friend of theirs made a grooms cake that again, really made their wedding feel "them"!

Thank you so much to Ashley and Ian for choosing Shore to Please Weddings to be part of such a special day. We appreciate all of the hard work of the amazing vendor team that helped to pull everything together. We wish Ashley and Ian lots of happiness together!
