Christine & Anthony's Wedding, Eagle Oaks, NJ

A few years ago we had the pleasure of working with Gina and Ryan on their wedding at The English Manor. We were so excited when we got the call in the fall of 2020 that her sister, Christine had gotten engaged and was ready to plan her wedding. Christine and Anthony chose Eagle Oaks Golf and Country Club in Farmingdale, NJ for their October 9th wedding.

Christine got ready at a family friends house in Spring Lake and it was such a perfect space for wedding preparations. Hair and makeup was in full swing when I arrived, with makeup by Lorena Ferreira and hair by Elisha from Barber on Main. Christine had a pretty large bridal party- 10 ladies plus a junior bridesmaid that all looked stunning in their deep navy blue dresses. The very talented Tanya Salazar arrived and began with photographing Christine's details, before she got dressed.

With the help of her mom and two sisters, Christine put on her gorgeous dress and was ready for her first look with her Dad. I love first looks with Dad AND with the wedding party, which happened next! Since Christine got ready on the 2nd level of the house, the walk down the staircase with her ladies at the bottom was the perfect reveal.

Next, it was off to St. Teresa's church in a limo for Christine and her dad while her bridesmaids followed in a white trolley from The Good Life Limo. Christine and Anthony saw each other for the first time during the beautiful ceremony. After church, everyone departed for the venue and some photos.

Eagle Oaks is such a pretty venue with so many details, that the ballroom really doesn't need much to bring it to life. Christine chose a mix of tall white calla lily arrangements and low white hydrangea arrangements provided by Flowers by Melinda. It was such a clean and delicate look that fit so well in that ballroom.

After enjoying a beautiful cocktail hour spread, the guests entered the ballroom with music playing from one of my favorites, The Clara Jordan Band (from Hank Lane Music). When it was time for the couple to enter, Eagle Oaks broke out the sparklers for a very grand entrance.

The evening consisted of some great speeches from the bride's sisters and father and the groom's brother. The Clara Jordan Band kept the dance floor packed all night. I especially enjoyed hearing them perform It's all coming back to me by Celine Dion- such a fun throwback!

The night was extended with an after party held at Eagle Oaks. Thank you to all of the great vendors who helped to make the day flow so smoothly and bring Christine & Anthony's vision to life. It was such a fun day with a wonderful, easy going couple. It was so nice to get to work with Christine and her family again and to get to know Anthony and his family. We wish Christine and Anthony lots of happiness together. Congrats you two!
