Emily & Kevin's Bayonet Farm Wedding, Holmdel, NJ

Emily and Kevin original booked us for Day of Coordination but decided during their planning process to add on a few extra months. We ended up starting with them over the summer, leading up to their September 25th wedding at Bayonet Farm. Bayonet Farm is a beautiful, raw space in Holmdel Township. When we kicked off with Emily, she already had such a beautiful vision for how she wanted to transform the space and a group of vendors who could definitely get the job done.

We spent the day before the wedding getting the farm ready. It was definitely an all hands on deck situation. Kevin brought in lots of plants and flowers to cover up some of the not so eye catching areas. He also made his own bar truck (yes, you read that correctly!) which was put in place. We hung things and got rental items in place to minimize the setup for the day of. The beautiful clear top tent was in place and looking good!

On the morning of the wedding, Emily got ready at Oyster Point Hotel, while Kevin got ready at his Dad's house nearby. Stephanie from Pro Styled Bride worked on the ladies hair while the Make Me Up Eva team was on makeup. Oyster Point is such a beautiful spot for getting ready and Dream Street Photography captured so many gorgeous shots of Emily and her girls during that time.

After getting ready, the men made their way over to Bayonet Farm in a white trolley from Shooboo Shuttle which then picked up the women. Everyone was ready for the first look, which was such a sweet moment. Following the first look, the group took some photos throughout the grounds of the farm before getting tucked away for the ceremony.

The ceremony was taking place in an open field on the property. An arbor arch was set up at the alter and adorned with flowers from Guaranteed Plants and Florist. Music was played by a keyboardist from The Nines and the Emily and Kevin shared vows that they wrote. It was a lovely ceremony!

At the conclusion of the ceremony, cocktail hour took place across from the field in the grey barn. It was a really nice day so guests were able to mingle both inside and outside of the barn. Falco's catered the event and not only was their food delicious but their staff was amazing- so helpful, friendly and on top of things!

For the reception, guests made their way up the hill to the main tent. The beautiful centerpieces were from Guaranteed Plants and Florist. . The decor details were so beautiful- Kevin's sister actually created the hoops hanging from the barn doors and the succulent K&E for inside the barn (she needs her own Etsy shop right?!). Dinner was under the tent while dancing was in the beautiful red barn across from it. The Nines played throughout the night, keeping guests up and dancing. We enjoyed some really sweet and funny speeches from Emily's mom, her sister and the best man.

Everything (including the weather thankfully) came together so nicely for the gorgeous wedding. It truly was a giant team effort! Thank you so much to Emily and Kevin for trusting us to help make their vision come to life and their wedding day run smoothly. A giant thank you to all of the vendors who helped make the day perfect and to Dream Street Photography for capturing these amazing images- we couldn't have done it without you! We wish Emily and Kevin lots of happiness in their future together. We sure will miss all of our chats with this wonderful couple.
